Vancouver experienced a strong sales surge at the beginning of the year, with a 12% increase in home sales compared to the previous month. Affordability remains a concern, and the MLS House Price Index showed a slight decrease. Construction activity increased, driven by rental units and condos, while single-family home construction declined.
