New home prices in the Vancouver region fell by 0.2% in September compared to August but remained unchanged year-over-year, according to Statistics Canada. In the Victoria area, prices were stable, while Kelowna saw a 0.6% increase. Overall, British Columbia's monthly index decreased by 0.2% and 0.1% year-over-year. Nationally, the index was flat for the second month, with a 0.2% increase from a year ago. The New Housing Price Index tracks selling prices of new residential homes across Canada.
